Part of my series of work following on my interest in legacy and ideas and the thought that we are partly made up of the ideas of others. This piece is inspired by the correspondence between Charles Darwin and JD Hooker in the 19th Century. Hooker was the Director of Kew Gardens 1865-1885 and brought back specimens of plants some of which can be seen in the glass houses at Kew, built in 1844.
